The midi note mappings in ezdrummer are available within the app. Support for other major brands We support all major MIDI mappings and formats. Then adjust the midinote numbers on the pads to correct any differences (such as what you are seeing) - See adjusting pad settings on page 6 in the Alesis user guide here: Even if there is a match you’ll likely have to make some tweaks (I had to with my Roland module even though there is a Roland map in ezdrummer. If there isn’t one there for alesis then there is a generic one IIRC. The first step is to pick the relevant map in ezdrummer in audio/midi setup, if you have not already. Click the Menu (three lines) icon at the top right of the Addictive Drums GUI, then click Map Window. Connect your external MIDI controller or drum kit to your computer, then launch Addictive Drums 2. Ezdrummer has a set of fixed mappings so you have to change the kit on the module to match if there are any differences rather than being able to change the map on ezdrummer (to match the module kit’s mapping). XLN Audio has made the process straightforward, so follow these steps to change the mapping. You’ll have to change the midi note mapping of the pads to match what ezdrummer is expecting. ![]()
